The number of lines requirement does not apply for thermal printing.

DATA to be embossed, thermal printed and/or encoded on cards is to be provided as follows:

Typed List — This can be either faxed or snail mailed to us.
|
|
3.5" Disk(s) or CD — PC Compatible — Delimited ASCII file format .
|
Emailed list — Either As Email attachment in Tab Delimited ASCII format or Excel file to:
 Cards@pittsburghembossing.com. This is the best method.
|
|
Maximum number of characters and spaces (10 per inch) per line on a standard plastic card = 29.
|
|
Maximum OCR (large) characters and spaces at 7 per inch per line = 20.
|
|
Do Not use quotes "" or parenthesis () in data file.
|
There is a one time set-up fee of $35.00 for all new cards or redesigned card layouts.
There is a programming charge of $80.00/hr. to convert data which is not in the PC format above.
A minimum personalization charge of $25.00 is applicable on runs of less than 31 cards.
Remakes due to poor card quality will be billed at $60.00 per hour.

Same day service up to 1,000 cards: Up charge 50%. Data & cards must be in house by 9:00 AM EST.
24 hour service up to 1,000 cards: Up charge 20%. Data & cards must be in house by 3:00 PM EST.
